Statutory audit
You can choose a reasonable assurance audit or a limited assurance audit. The key difference is that the reasonable assurance audit will involve a more in-depth review and a review of a larger number of files in order to give you reasonable assurance of the level of compliance of your firm and the effectiveness of your programme. The statutory audit is a formal and independent audit. It is important to note that the firm undertaking your audit must not have developed, implemented or maintained your Risk Assessment or Compliance Programme.
Pre-audit review
Pre-audits include document reviews and can also include compliance testing and effectiveness reviews.
Post-audit assistance
Post-audit remediation work can be undertaken to help you close off your audit points and achieve compliance with your obligations.
On-going compliance monitoring
We can help you with your on-going compliance monitoring and assurance to help you manage risk, demonstrate compliance with the AML/CFT Act and be better prepared for your next audit.
Key Documents
Key documents can take weeks to produce and maintain.
We can help develop, implement and maintain your Risk Assessment and AML/CFT Compliance Programme.
Careful consideration needs to be given to your specific business risks. Policies, procedures and controls need to be developed based on these risks and must be tailored to your business and must address the minimum requirements of the AML/CFT Act.
Demonstrating technical compliance is not enough. Once your compliance framework is in place, you need to demonstrate that it works effectively on an on-going basis. We can help you establish a Compliance Monitoring Programme and Compliance Registers to help you achieve and demonstrate effectiveness of your AML/CFT Programme.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS ARE SAYING
We engaged Bruce Horwood from 4S Consulting Limited to complete our first audit under the new AML/CFT regime for accountants. Bruce has a real passion for the legislation and was able to offer great insight and recommendations to ensure our AML/CFT compliance programme was strengthened and fully compliant moving forward. We would recommend Bruce to anyone needing help of any kind with the AML/CFT legislation, he was great to work with and knows the legislation extremely well.”
